How we make your jewellery

23 October 2019

We are forever sketching bits of jewellery on paper – they are all over the place in our studio! It’s the first process in how we make your jewellery.

Once we love a design we start to make a sample. We experiment with shaping the clay and dying it until we come up with a colour and style we are happy with. Our lovely kiln sits in the corner of the studio and is on every night. Most pieces take more than one firing as we have to glaze them and often apply a transfer.

Our silver and gold pieces are designed by us and made by a small hill tribe in Thailand. They send them to us and we combine them with our porcelain to create the finished product.

We hope you love wearing our jewellery as much as we love making it!
